Eric Stewart To Speak On Aging In Place At Potomac Community Village Event On April 14
The Potomac Community Village (PCV) has invited Eric Stewart to help answer one of life's key questions. Stewart, a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) and top Associate Broker with Long & Foster, will share his strategies for keeping one's home easy to manage, and a place of comfort, familiarity, and safety.
In addition, he hopes to provide PCV attendees with the tools they need to step forward into new and rewarding aspects of their lives. The program, "How to Stay in Your Home As You Age - and What to Do if You Can't" is free and open to all.
"We all need to know how to keep our stories and memories alive, while preserving and passing on our memorabilia and treasures to the next generation. That is how we continue to make room for ourselves and our changing lifestyles," says Stewart.
When a change in living status must take place, however, Stewart focuses on how to judge the best timing for making that change, how to maximize financial gains, and how to do it all with the least amount of stress and hassle. To address these issues, Stewart has authored a free Rightsizing Guide, which offers advice on how to determine whether aging in place or downsizing is the best decision for you and tips on decluttering and sorting through a lifetime of personal items and possessions.
Stewart is from a family of doctors, which has influenced his real estate business. His greatest interest is centered on his clients, listening and prescribing a plan of action for each one. He also draws on his over 28 years of real estate experience as the host of The Eric Stewart Show on WMAL 105.9 FM every Sunday morning at 7am.
With a lifelong commitment to community and social good, Stewart has founded the non-profit, Widow Care, which provides connections, resources, and support services to widows and widowers in distress.
PCV's April 14th meeting takes place from 7-9 pm at The Bolger Center's Franklin Building, 9800 Newbridge Drive, Potomac. Please use Parking Lot #1.
